Restlessness continues in Jammu and Kashmir as newspapers have been forced shut and any other sources of information cut down by the J&K government, in light of the protests that followed the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani. Internet and mobile services have also been restricted. The blackout will only fan the people's frustration and lead to more violence on the streets. The government is using the blackout to hide its inability to handle the crisis.
