The clashes with the police after the death of Burhan Wani had snowballed into a major crisis in Kashmir. Six weeks have passed since then and still there is no normality in the state. It is sad that PM Narendra Modi has expressed “deep concern and pain” over the unrest in Kashmir only now. PM should have intervened long back. Many lives have been lost since then. But it is okay to say it’s never too late. I hope the talks that the PM has offered bring in good news for the people of Kashmir.
