The ISIS claimed responsibility for attacks on Imam Sadiq Mosque in Kuwait, a US-owned gas factory in south-eastern France and a Tunisian beach resort days after urging followers to make “Ramzan a month of calamities for the non-believers”. Ironically, this message contradicts the spirit of piety that the month of Ramzan exemplifies. Islam preaches abstinence and restraint, not violence and murder.
