The Centre did what it would not have done had he been a dalit or a member of a minority community lynched by a mob. The Centre would have blamed the AAP government, sought a report from it, and would have accused Arvind Kejriwal of not maintaining law and order. Such horror stories are not rare in India, but timely action is.
