A trainee athlete at Chhatrasal Stadium confessed to spiking Indian wrestler Narsingh Yadav’s food supplements while he was away training in Georgia. This is a shocking revelation and shows us the dark side of sports, which is naturally a competitive domain. Although the reason why Narsingh was subjected to this conspiracy is unclear, the good news is that he didn’t consume drugs intentionally. It’s shameful that people tried to sabotage India’s Olympic hopes in this way. The Indian authorities should fight on Narsingh Yadav’s behalf.
