While it is natural for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attack the Congress, I agree with Mr Modi accusing the Gandhi family over the disruption of Parliament.

While it is natural for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attack the Congress, I agree with Mr Modi accusing the Gandhi family over the disruption of Parliament. Ever since the Modi government came to power in May 2014, the Congress is hell-bent on disrupting Parliament sessions. As a result, many important bills are pending passage. The government failed to make any headway on the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Bill during the Winter Session, which was a complete washout. The same was the case with the Monsoon Session. It’s time the Congress agrees to discussion and debate and allows Parliament to function.
