Barack Obama to appear on British Rock band Coldplay's new song

: United States' President Barack Obama is all set to feature in British rock band Coldplay's new song.

President Obama's decision to let the British rockers feature him on the track has been a surprising one. The recording comes from President Obama singing at the funeral of Charleston shooting victim Clementa C Pinckney earlier this year.

"We have a tiny clip of the president singing Amazing Grace at that church," Coldplay's lead singer Chris Martin said, according to The Sun online.

The band had made a special request to feature the clip "because of the historical significance of what he (Barack Obama) did, and also that that song being about, 'I'm lost but now I'm found'," he added.

The White House has granted special permission for the clip to be used in the single "A Head Full of Dreams", which is scheduled to release later this week.
