2 women injured in bomb explosion in Nepal

Two women suffered injuries when a bomb exploded on Thursday morning in Birgunj, a Nepalese town bordering Indian state Bihar.

Jarina Khatun and Taslima Khatun were injured in the explosion, which occurred at Pratima Chowk in Birgunj, police said. The women were admitted to the Narayani sub-regional hospital for medical treatment.

Security has been beefed up and a man-hunt has been launched after the blast, however no one has claimed responsibility for the incident.
