Congress chief to visit Amethi next week
According to the district Congress president in Amethi, Yogendra Misra, Mr Gandhi will arrive in Amethi after Makar Sankranti on January 14.
Lucknow: Congress president Rahul Gandhi will be visiting his constituency Amethi next week. This will be his first visit after assuming charge as the Congress president.
According to the district Congress president in Amethi, Yogendra Misra, Mr Gandhi will arrive in Amethi after Makar Sankranti on January 14.
“Amethi will give Mr Gandhi a rousing welcome. The people of Amethi are waiting to celebrate his elevation,” he said.
Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee president Raj Babbar said that Amethi was waiting with open arms to welcome Mr Rahul Gandhi who si now the Congress president.
