Nirbhaya rerun: Uttar Pradesh girl raped by 3 minors

In another shocking incident that reminds one of the gruesome Nirbhaya case of 2012, a minor girl was raped by three minor boys in Badaun district.

The rapists then shoved wooden stick, match sticks and some other items into her private parts.

The victim’s sister has recognised the accused through their photographs on Facebook and two of them have been arrested while the third is absconding.

According to police reports, the incident took place on June 23 when the girl was going to a market to buy chocolates. On the way, she met one of the boys who was her neighbour and two of his friends.

The three forced her to sit on their motorcycle and gagged her mouth. The boy took her to a sugarcane field and raped her after which they fled.

A farmer later saw the girl lying in a critical condition and took her to her home.

The girl was later sent for a medical examination which revealed that cloth, polythene, bottle cork, wooden stick and match sticks had been shoved into her private parts.

The victim’s sister spoke to the girl and later showed the photographs of the accused on Facebook.
