Leopard strikes again in Guwahati, 2 injured

In what has been an alarming development, a stray leopard on Friday created panic in Guwahati by injuring two people in the fourth incident of its kind in less than one month. The leopard entered a house in Lalunggaon in Lokhra area, in the outskirt of Guwahati through an open window and attacked a pregnant woman who rushed out and the animal turned its attention to other residents of the house, injuring another youth. The owner of the house along with other residents of the area however managed to lock up the leopard in a room and called the forest department personnel.
