Girl found dead, honour killing suspected

"In a suspected case of honour killing, a 20-yr-old girl was found hanging from the ceiling of her house in Lonin town near Ghaziabad," police said.

Sahitta had married about 20 days ago against the wishes of her family but was living at her parents' home. "A probe has been launched to ascertain if it was a case of suicide or she was hanged after being killed," police said. The body has been sent for postmortem.
