The RSS’s three-day ‘Akhil Bhartiya Karyakari Mandal’ meet began in Hyderabad on Sunday with an aim to review its programmes and discuss “important issues” related with the “Hindu samaj” and the nation.

Other issues to be dicussed include “political killings” of the Sangh cadre in Left-led Kerala, attacks on Hindus by “Jehadi elements” in West Bengal and involvement of some Muslims in the “molestation and killing” of Hindu women.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had released a booklet ‘Ahuti’, detailing the “sacrifices” of the Sangh in Kerala at the BJP’s recently concluded national council.

The Hyderabad meet was inagurated by RSS supremo Mohan Bhagwat where the RSS top brass discussed key issues. BJP president Amit Shah will also meet the RSS top brass on Monday.

In a press statement, RSS joint general secretary V. Bhaigaih said the meet will discuss issues related to “dharmic, cultural awareness, family values and integrated village development” and the “Hindu society and nation”.

With dalit outreach as one of the top priorities of the Sangh, the statement also asserted it is “commited to ensure” that the marginalised sections of the “Hindu society, especially the SC/ST” avail all the benefits promised by the government.

In the poll bound states of UP, Punjab amd Gujarat, dalits and the OBCs are considered as a numerically significant votebank and the BJP has launched many initiatives to woo them.

The statement also talked about Sangh’s ideologue Deendayal Upadhyaya’s philosphy of ‘Ekatma Maanava Darashan’ or integral humanism, global economic crisis, global warming and “animosity among nations.”

Reminding ruling TMC government of West Bengal of the Kolkata High Court’s “admonishment” of not appeasing minority community at the cost of fundamantel rights of the Hindus, the statement said the attack on Hindus and “molestation and killings of Hindu girls” by some members of the Muslim community were being done with the “blessings” of the ruling party.
