2 minors raped in Odisha in two days
Both the accused repeatedly raped her and dropped her off at her village on Thursday morning.
Nabaranpur: A Class 8 student was allegedly abducted and raped by two youth when she was on her way to answer nature’s call at the Sanmari village in Odisha’s Nabrangpur district on Wednesday night, reports said on Friday.
As per the complaint filed by the survivor at the Nabarangpur Town police station on Friday, two youth intercepted her and forcefully carried her away to an isolated place.
Both the accused repeatedly raped her and dropped her off at her village on Thursday morning. The youth warned her not to reveal the matter to anyone or else face consequences. One of the youth even promised to marry her if she kept the incident a secret.
In another incident, a 15-year-old minor girl on Friday lodged a complaint at the Simulia police station in Balasore district alleging that she was abducted and raped by a youth of the same village.
