Bhanwari case: Malkhan sister’s arrest imminent

The CBI, probing Bhanwari Devi murder case, is set to arrest key absconding accused Indira Bishnoi, sister of former Congress MLA Malkhan Singh, in a day or two.
The agency, which recently arrested her driver, has got some crucial leads about whereabouts of Indra Bishnoi. The CBI is now preparing to file final report in the Bhanwari Devi case before a local court in Jodhpur by the end of this week, sources added.
Sources said, “Available inputs with the CBI suggest that Indira Bishnoi might be hiding in Rajasthan. The agency officials are in touch with Rajasthan police also. She has already been declared as an absconder by a local court of Jodhpur”. Indira had earlier claimed that Bhanwari had relations with several politicians of Rajasthan, including former Rajasthan minister Mahipal Maderna, sources added.
Probe by the agency has revealed that Indira was also part of the conspiracy hatched to abduct and kill Bhanwari Devi, sources said. The agency officials also questioned family members of former Rajasthan Minister Mahipal Maderna again in connection with its probe related to the case. Now the agency officials are planning to question Leela Maderna in the presence of her husband Mahipal Maderna on Tuesday.
Sources said probe by the agency has revealed that Leela Maderna reportedly spoke to Sahi Ram, prime suspect in the case, thrice on September 3, two days after the 36-year-old nurse-cum-folk singer went missing, sources added.
