BHUBANESWAR: A Swedish girl’s seven-year-old wait to meet her lover, a youth hailing from Odisha’s Kandhamal district, finally ended on Sunday evening when she arrived her with her family members.
Emma Lorre, the girl from Sweden, met her lover Mohammad Azharuddin of Kandhamal and solemnised the nikah as per Muslim custom to enter into a marital relationship.
Seven years ago, Emma had fallen in love with one Azharuddin while the latter was working as a chef in Goa.
Despite staying far away from each other for all these years, both of them continued to be in a relationship through social media.
