The countdown to Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls has begun and all eyes are on the politically crucial state, which is set to witness a three-pronged battle between the SP-Congress alliance, BJP and BSP. While the high-profile family tussle in the Samajwadi Party had led to a lot of suspense and tense drama, it also led to the creation of many memes and funny videos on social media.
Adding extra spice and some humour in the mix, a parody trailer of the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees, featuring Akhilesh Yadav as the protagonist with Prime Minister Narendra Modi donning the villain's cap, went viral on social media platforms.
Succinctly capturing the mood in the state with a tinge of sarcasm, the perfectly edited video also featured Dimple Yadav in the role of Mahira Khan.
The state is going to poll on February 13. The results will announced on March 11.
