After Twitter, PMO To Log In To Facebook

Having made its Twitter debut, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) is now busy exploring the possibility of being on the social networking site Face-book. The aim would be to reach out to the common man and redress grievances, said sources.
The PMO’s decision to explore the Facebook option is not without reason. Just a fortnight after its Twitter debut, it has already acquired a “following” of 38,500 people. The PMO is also planning to set up a small office to effectively handle communications through social media.
According to sources, the existing PMO account on Facebook is not official and is being run by some fans. As for its Twitter account, the PMO plans to make it more interactive by answering genuine queries and people’s grievances.
