Queen’s picture perfect pose

Britain’s Queen Elizabeth is always “100 per cent” professional when being photographed. The monarch posed for a series of portraits taken by photographer John Swannell to mark her Diamond Jubilee and John, who has worked with the queen before, says she is the perfect subject.

He told Britain’s Hello! magazine, “When Queen Elizabeth agrees to a sitting she is there for you 100 per cent and asks where do you want to do it. I had to go into Buckingham Palace the day before this particular shoot to set it all up and it was a breeze. It’s the third time I have photographed her and she is always very professional, she knows official portraits are part of her duty.”
John also revealed his latest photoshoot with the monarch went especially well because she was relaxed and excited about the festive season.
