Nicolas Cage and Alice Kim split

The 52-year-old actor Nicolas Cage and his wife Alice Kim have announced their separation after being married for over 11 years, confirms JustJared.com. The actor revealed that he and his wife separated back in January, but he had not made an official announcement then.

Nicolas is known for his roles in famous movies such as, Leaving Las Vegas, National Treasure and Ghost Rider series.

Also, in an interview a few years ago, Nicolas said that he got married ‘too soon’ so that Alice could travel with him while he was working on his films. They got married in the year 2004, after knowing each other for just a few months.
