Kit Harrington apologises to fans

Sorry — just sorry Kit Harrington, if you think a simple admission of guilt will right the betrayal fans all over the world are feeling — then you know nothing, Jon Snow!

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Kit, who plays the pivotal character in hit HBO series Game of Thrones, apologised to fans for keeping secret his character’s status. In the final episode of Season 5, Jon Snow was repeatedly stabbed by his fellow brothers of the Night Watch, and left for dead, leaving the whole world in shock. That is, until, the latest episode of GoT, revealed his resurrection in a fantastic twist to the plot!

Opening up about it, the 29-year-old told EW — “Sorry! I’d like to say sorry for lying to everyone. I’m glad that people were upset that he died. I think my biggest fear was that people were not going to care. Or it would just be, ‘Fine, Jon Snow’s dead.’ But, it seems like people had a similar to the Red Wedding episode kind of grief about it. Which means something I’m doing — or the show is doing — is right.”

To all those who are yet to watch the second episode — sorry folks! This is one explosive spoiler, we couldn’t keep mum about.
