Kesha’s got new music

Singer Kesha released a teaser for a new track she has recorded with EDM producer Zedd on Thursday, her first music in over three years.

CalledTrue Colours, the track’s release is legally sound even though Kesha is still in a legal battle to exit her contract with music producer Dr Luke, who she says drugged and raped her.

After hearing about her troubles at the time, Zedd had offered to produce music with her. Announcing the collaboration, Zedd had tweeted, “Just to clarify: We didn’t use any loop holes. Kemosabe/RCA gave us permission to release this song!” to which Dr Luke replied sarcastically, “Thanks for the clarification @Zedd.”
