Kanye West tweets to defend Bill Cosby

Kanye West, known for his rants on Twitter, went on yet another one on Tuesday night about many things.

But the one topic that really grabbed everyone’s attention was his defence of veteran comedian Bill Cosby who has been accused of sexual assault and rape by a number of women. “BILL COSBY INNOCENT !!!!!!!! (sic),” the rapper tweeted, which was met with immediate backlash from other users.

Comedian Sarah Silverman was one of those users, who quoted Kanye’s tweet and commented, “Kanye! You can’t be for real. Fifty women with nothing to gain thanks to a statute of limitations on rape. Oy.”
