There is a rise in desirability to be fit among youngsters. Most of them prefer the gym for workouts or take a stroll or jog in the park. But that time of the year is here — when the monsoon is slowly getting underway, and stepping out of the house is proving to be an issue. Fret not, these indoor exercises will help you burn calories and activate three to four muscle groups in a limited time... so let’s get going, already!

Bulgarian split squats This is an exclusive workout for glutes and quadriceps. Bulgarian split squats also helps to bring in more separation to your thighs.

Squats with oblique twist This routine will activate your sides and tones your body. This full-body exercise is helpful for bulky people.

Sumo deadlift This is one of the best exercises for building up muscle and enhancing core strength. It helps tone your entire thigh and your glutes (butt muscles).

Lunges with lateral raise Another functional training routine, this workout will help you sculpt your thighs and make them look toned. This full-body exercise will define your shoulders too.

Bent-over dumbbell row This ultimate exercise with dumbbells for lats muscles will help you develop your upper back without any weak point.

Romanian deadlift By relaxing your hamstring muscles and back thighs, this hard-core exercise will burn a lot of calories.

Dumbbell squats with shoulder press This intense workout is a part of the functional training. This exercise will activate two to three muscle groups in your body at a time.
