Canadian striker Hume scored 11 goals in the previous edition, including two hat-tricks to help ATK make the last four.

Bolstering the squad again will be Nato and the busy Tiri and Doutie, who stole the show along with Hume last year.

The 2014 title holders and last year’s semi-finalists also announced that they were retaining central defender Arnab Mondal and central midfielder Jewel Raja.

New additions among domestic players are Shilton Paul, Debjit Majumder, Pritam Kotal, Bikramjit Singh, Kingshuk Debnath, Bidyananda Singh Ningthoujam, Bikash Jairu, Dika, Robert Lalthlanumna and Prabir Das.

Under-17 Manipur lad Bidyananda “Honda” Singh, was spotted by youth academy coaches from Barcelona, Manchester United and Inter Milan and was a standout at a training camp in Doha. ATK head coach Jose Molina said he was looking forward to joining the team.
