Bird eye makeup as a make-up trend has been around for a few years now. It is an extremely complimenting look especially on Indian eyes as it helps highlight the eye’s shape, size and style. What’s more fun about this makeup trend is that it allows one to experiment with different lines, shapes and gives you room to customise it as per your look or mood of the day.

How to achieve it It’s best to use a liquid black liner to achieve the look or if you’re comfortable using a brush then invest in a thin pointy brush (art brush — zero number, if you are an artist). Starting from the inner corner of the eye, apply the eyeliner close to your natural lash line and extend the liner towards the outer corner. Now the trick to extend you liner is to follow your water line and draw an extended liner towards the corner of the end of your eyebrows in a straight line. Join the extended line with your liner to your upper lash-line.

For the inner corner, extend the liner outwards to your tear-duck and join it with your lower lash line. The trick is to make a pointed ‘V’ at the inner corner of your eye. Using a kohl pencil, fill in your waterline and smudge it with a smudge brush or Q tips. Complete the look by applying a coat of mascara to add volume to your lashes
