Nach Baliye 8: Divyanka-Vivek win the trophy; Abigail-Sanam are first runners-up
Couple Abigail Pande and Sanam Johar were the first runners-up, while Sanaya Irani-Mohit Rai stood third.
Mumbai: Televisions power-couple Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya swept the trophy of dance reality show-Nach Baliye, season eight. The couple was beaming with both joy and immense pride.
Couple Abigail Pande and Sanam Johar were the first runners-up, while Sanaya Irani-Mohit Rai stood third.
Divyanka and Vivek lovingly addressed as ‘DiVek’ got a cash prize of Rs 35 lakh, a Hero Maestro, and Ora jewellery.
The duo emerged as one of the strongest couples and remained thick throughout the show, courtesy Divyanka’s admired character of Ishita from the popular show- ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ that she became a household name.
Their performance and journey in the entire show were noteworthy, competing at par with the other couples.
This win calls for a double celebration for the lovebirds, as they’ll celebrate their first wedding anniversary on July 8, reportedly in Europe.
‘Nach Baliye 8’ started in April with Sonakshi Sinha, Terence Lewis and Mohit Suri on the judge’s panel, and finally, the show has come to an end with their winner.
