Ejaz Khan, who is portraying the role of a sarpanch on the show Ye Moh Moh Ke Dhaage, has found a new love while shooting in the Rann of Kutch. The actor has struck a rather interesting friendship with a camel during the shoot and the makers of the show have made good use of it.

For a key sequence, the actor visited the Rann of Kutch. When shooting scenes with a camel there, the actor forged a deep bond with the animal. A source from the set says that Ejaz was completely natural when shooting with the camel, “No one could tell that Ejaz was not a local. He managed to learn camel riding in 15-minutes flat! He got so comfortable with the camel that he could make the camel sit, stand and even took him for a walk.”

The actor even went out of his way to ensure that the animal was comfortable when shooting the scenes. “What was surprising was that on occasions, he even calmed the animal when it got restless,” the source recalls.

Ejaz on his part says, “I’m an animal lover and it was natural for me to have a soft corner for the camel. And, we bonded miraculously. We connected so well that I was easily able to control the animal’s actions most of the time during shoot.”
