Life Ok released the teasers of their upcoming mega budget show Chandrakanta on Friday morning. The same night Raj Nayak, CEO for Colors, made an announcement on Twitter about their show, which is based on the same concept.

With Life Ok releasing the first teaser and Colors responding immediately by making an announcement, it is very clear the latter will not back out. The advantage lies with Life Ok as producer Nikhil Sinha started work on the show much earlier. Ekta Kapoor, on the other hand hasn’t even started working on the concept so far according to Colors.

It looks like Nagarjun won’t be spared either.” The source continues, “Nagarjun is most likely going to be axed as the show has failed miserably to garner ratings. With the two powerful general entertainment channels and producers up in arms against each other over Chandrakanta, it will be interesting to see who wins the race.”
