Nora Fatehi declines Pakistan offer

Indo-Canadian dancer Nora Fatehi is quite the popular face on various social media platforms, especially YouTube and Instagram, owing to her dance skills. She’s also pretty well known thanks to her sketches.

Understandably, Nora has a huge fan following across the globe, and received requests from event organisers from different parts of the world. She received one such request from Pakistan, where she was invited to perform on a TV show.

Now, while for an artiste there are no barriers and boundaries, Nora was a little uncomfortable with the prospect of performing in the country, owing to some recent unrest there.

Says a source. “Nora’s dance videos have a huge fan base in Pakistan, and she had been receiving requests for performances and shows there. A request from a Pakistani TV show, for a dance performance came up, and they were in talks with Nora. But due to certain constraints, she had to decline the opportunity.”

Considering her security concerns, her management team opted out. She does, however, look forward to opportunities in the future to perform for her Pakistani fans, the source adds.
