Demi Lovato is one of Time’s 100 most influential people

Singer and actress Demi Lovato has been very vocal in her support for mental health issues and about subjects like eating disorders, addictions and even body image issues. And now, due to her support she has been named one of Time’s 100 most influential people, reported JustJared.com.

The 24-year-old was present at the Time 100 Gala on Tuesday in New York, where she also performed on stage. As part of the Time 100 feature, Demi was described as “a remarkably talented artist and performer. But her courage, honesty and willingness to use her own experiences to help others are what make her a true star”.
