Kim Cattrall slams Sarah Jessica Parker

Since Sex and City star and series producer Sarah Jessica Parker announced that the hopes for a third film were officially dashed, tensions surrounding the protracted cast negotiations have come to light.

TMZ.com reports that actress Kim Cattrall had to face rumours that she was being a diva with her set demands. However, Kim recently clarified that she has been saying no to doing a third movie for years. 

“It’s quite extraordinary to get any kind of negative press about something that I’ve been saying for almost a year of ‘no,’ that I’m demanding or a diva,” Kim said on a talk show, adding, “And this is really where I take to task the people from Sex and the City, and specifically Sarah Jessica Parker, in that I think she could have been nicer.”

The actress then obliquely addressed rumors about her relationship with Parker, which is reportedly less than friendly, “I don’t know what her issue is, I never have,” she said.
