Good news! Sara Ali Khan can shoot for Kedarnath and Simmba simultaneously

Four days back, Deccan Chronicle informed you that Sara Ali Khan was being dragged to court by her ‘Kedarnath’ director Abhishek Kapoor over issue of dates.

Abhishek was adamant that Sara give her dates to ‘Kedarnath’ as it was mentioned in the contract which the debutante actress had signed for her first film.

But now, after ‘Simmba’ director Rohit Shetty’s interference, the two have agreed to work things out. Team ‘Kedarnath’ will go ahead with shooting portions which don’t include Sara while she completes her ‘Simmba’ shoot.

A source from the team told DNA, “When Kedarnath landed into trouble and was stalled after fallout between Abhishek Kapoor (Gattu) and Prernaa Arora, the agency that manages the newbie actress gave bulk dates in June and July to Rohit and Karan Johar for Simmba. Now that Ronnie Screwvala has come on board and is backing Kedarnath, Gattu and he wanted the same dates from Sara to complete their movie. They decided to take a legal recourse soon.”

The source reveals, “Rohit and Gattu had a talk. Ronnie, too, was present at the meeting. The three filmmakers met on Sunday to discuss the matter. Karan (Johar) couldn’t be there as he’s holidaying in the US. They have come to a mutual agreement.”

The source adds, “Sara will shoot simultaneously for Kedarnath and Simmba. While she films Simmba, the Kedarnath team will complete the portions that don’t include her and vice versa. The directors have worked it out.”
