Will Sidhu be forced to quit Kapil’s show?

Kapil Sharma’s show has been embroiled in controversy for the past few days now. Apart from the Kapil-Sunil Grover fiasco, another important figure on the show, Navjot Singh Sidhu has been in the news for choosing to stay on the show even after being inducted as a cabinet minister in the Captain Amarinder Singh-led Government in Punjab.

While his choice has garnered mixed responses from the audience and those in the government, sources from the show suggest that he may have to step down from his seat on the show. “With Sunil Grover and others on mass leave, the Kapil Sharma Show is in serious trouble.  Sidhu paaji says he won’t leave the show. He keeps insisting that if Kirron Kherji can be an active parliamentarian and a TV show judge, why can’t he do the same? However, we hear that there is tremendous party pressure for him to leave the show as he has been given a very important portfolio in the new Punjab government,” says a source adding, “Kapil wants Sidhu paaji to stay. Sidhu paaji wants to stay too. But we don't think he will be able to find the time.”
