Chitrangada Singh broke her silence recently, as she opened up about the bitter experience she went through on the sets of Babumoshai Bandookbaaz. In 2016, the actress reportedly walked out of Babumoshai Bandookbaaz, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, after her argument with director Kushan Nandy over an intimate scene. The #MeToo movement made headlines after Tanushree Dutta spoke out against Nana Patekar, following which many more actresses chose to open up about others.

Chitrangadha, however, feels it will not be a complete purge. She explains, “I am not saying it will be an eradication of it (sexual harassment). I don’t think that way but it’s the beginning of a change. Change takes time. It takes a generation at least, so maybe our kids will not think it’s okay to touch a woman like this or stare at her.”

She further adds, “The coming generation and our kids will probably have a healthier society; it is not healthy behaviour for a man to think it’s (sexual misconduct) normal. We are heading towards a healthier society, if not a perfect one.”
