Kangana to contest Lok Sabha polls? Spokesperson denies

he buzz in the trade for the last two days has been that Kangana Ranaut would be contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from her home state of Himachal Pradesh. One of the highest paid actresses in Bollywood, Kangana hails from a small town called Bhambla in Himachal Pradesh.

The Manikarnika heroine has been in the news of late for controversies surrounding her film Manikarnika, her battle with director Krish and the Karni Sena.

Political sources riding the hobby horse also mentioned that the actress who was recently trolled for riding a mechanical horse is on the watch list of a couple of political parties, though Kangana’s leanings are more towards the right wing.

“It is being said that Kangana has been approached to be one of their star faces in their campaign. She identifies with a lot of independent women of today who are ready to take on wrongdoings and is strongly being considered to contest from Himachal,” says a source.

Trade sources also confirm that Kangana is being considered. However, Kangana’s spokesperson replies with, “No, it’s not true at all”
