Salman Khan takes a dig at Sanjay Leela Bhansali, again

Recently, Deepika Padukone was on the sets of Bigg Boss to promote her film Padmavati, even as it is mired in controversy. And she indulged in a delightful sparring match with her host.

One of the questions Deepika was asked by Salman was, whom would she marry if given a choice among Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor and Sanjay Bhansali. To this, Deepika replied she’d marry Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Salman promptly retorted, “That marriage won’t work out.”

When she counter-questioned him, Salman quickly evaded the actress. A friend of both Bhansali and Salman says, “Salman never misses a chance to take a dig at Bhansali. They share a strange love-hate relationship that goes back to the time when the filmmaker made his first film, Khamoshi: The Musical. When Bhansali signed Shah Rukh instead of Salman for Devdas, the Kick actor never forgave him. Over the years, they have been at loggerheads and yet somewhere they continue to care for one another. During times of crisis Salman stands up for Bhansali — he has spoken up in Bhansali’s defence.”
