Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in tears over media pushiness
At the time of cutting a cake, Ash demanded a moment’s silence from the media.
The usually calm and composed Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was reduced to tears, as she tried to deal with the media presence at a children’s hospital on Monday. The actress had visited the hospital to mark her father, the late Krishnaraj Rai’s birth anniversary.
At the time of cutting a cake, an irritated Aishwarya urged the media personnel present to stop screaming and clicking pictures. “I am asking you all you keep silence. You don’t need photos of all this,” she said. “You and I belong to this business, but all the others present here don’t. Please show some respect. This is not a premiere.”
Ash was visiting the hospital with her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan and mother Vrinda Rai. Besides spending time at the hospital, she also pledged to sponsor surgeries for 100 children who suffered from cleft lips.
