Ayesha Takia opens up about botox pic

Ayesha Takia faced a rather messy situation a few months ago when a picture of hers went viral. She looks visibly different from what she did earlier and was trolled mercilessly for going under the knife.

The actress, who is busy promoting her new single Zindagi Yeh Zindagi, says that the picture was ridiculous and didn’t even look like her.

“I’ve never been affected by all this because I have such a supportive system around me. I was in Goa with my mom, and we just laughed at the rumours, because it didn’t even look like me. It was so blown out of proportion,” she says.

She adds, “Every actor is picked on for something or the other. That’s just part of social media. People thought I would get affected, but I didn’t.”

Ask her why she kept mum about the controversy back then and she says, “I don’t want to speak about something which is untrue, because there’s no point in it. Obviously, that was ridiculous.”

In today’s day and age, when many choose to opt for botox, Ayesha asserts that she wouldn’t at this point. “I don’t think I will as of now, but you never know the future. I’m very happy the way I am,” says the 31-year-old. “I don’t have views on anything that other people want to do. I always feel that it’s a free world and I would not judge anybody for what they do. People should do what makes them happy.”
