Two’s a charm for Himesh

The Tera Suroor singer and actor, Himesh Reshammiya will soon make a comeback on the silver screen with a double whammy. News is that the singer-turned-actor will be seen in a double role in an upcoming film. Sources inform that a debutant director came up with a compelling script that the singer just couldn’t refuse. And not only has Himesh decided to star in it, but will also be bankrolling the film.

“Himesh has reduced composing songs and has been working a lot more to ensure that he comes up with projects where he can project himself as a hero better. At one time, he had 36 chart-busters in a row as a composer and singer. Now he wants to show his acting chops and hence he has two roles to showcase his talent,” says the source.

Previously, Himesh has acted in Karzzz and Kajraa Re. “His films like The Xpose and Tera Suroor, have managed to make their money on the basis of the strong music and satellite rights of the film,” adds the source. While details of the untitled film are still underway, it is certain that a new heroine will be cast opposite Himesh in the film.
