Chitrangada in writing mode

Actress Chitrangada took a huge risk by making a film like Soorma her debut venture as a producer, but fortunately, things seem to have worked out in her favour.

And while people are still raving about the sports-drama, the actress is all set to add another feather to her cap.

“Writing has always been a passion of mine. I am writing something at the moment; there are two stories that I have developed. We are now working on a screenplay for one of them — a light-hearted, breezy, romance,” Chitrangada says, adding, “It’s a project that’s very close to my heart, and I will be acting in it as well. I don’t like to talk about it too much until I’m sure of things.”

The actress, who’s best known for her performances in Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, and Yeh Saali Zindagi will also be seen in the upcoming films Baazaar and Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3.
