Why is Iulia Vantur M.I.A?

If you’ve noticed Iulia Vantur missing from the spate of pre-Diwali parties in showbiz, let us solve that mystery. The Romanian born singer-turned-actress’ visa has expired.

Iulia was conspicuous by her absence at all the bashes, be it Arpita Khan Sharma’s party, or Ramesh Taurani’s; the latter also announced his return to big cinema with Race 3, which Salman Khan is a part of.

“Salman was too busy with his Tiger Zinda Hai shoot over the past few weeks to try and help Iulia to extend her visa, like he had done earlier,” says a source. “But this time around, she couldn’t extend it, and had to go back to Romania, as she is on a work visa here.”

Till date, all of Iulia’s visa extensions were being handled efficiently by Salman’s ex-manager Reshma Shetty and her team. But with the new management in place, they weren’t able to work on it in time.
