Sanjay Dutt has Ali Fazal starstruck

Ali Fazal, who is now a global icon, will be seen sharing screen space with Sanjay Dutt in Prasthaanam. The young actor seems to have had a fan boy moment on the sets of the film in the presence of the star.

“I have adored him since I was a child. He is probably the only person who I thought was a superstar. Finally working with him was amazing,” says Ali.

Prasthaanam is a remake of a Telugu superhit film. The film is being remade in Hindi by filmmaker Deva Katta, who also happened to make the original.

He further adds, “He is playing my father and Manisha ma’am is playing my mother in the film. He is just a sweetheart. He is very instinctive and he comes down to your level and talks. He doesn’t have any airs about his stardom. He is who he is. If you know him, you will know how to deal with him.”

Backed by Sanjay Dutt Productions, Prasthanam also stars Manisha Koirala and Amyra Dastur. In the movie, Sanjay will be seen as Loki, the patriarch of a powerful political family.
