A sequel to the 2007 film Johnny Gaddaar is in the offing. And just like the sequel to Life In a… Metro by Anurag Basu, this film will also not be called a sequel due to copyright issues involved with the first part.

“It is a new subject and film called, Monica… Oh, My Darling. The film has a retro feel to it, just like how all of Sriram Raghavan's subjects are. Producer Sheel Kumar who has backed films like Pink will be spearheading the project,” says a source.
