Varun Dhawan inspires a project

The popular writer of comedy has registered an unusual title with the Producers’ Association for his next project.

Amit Aaryan, writer of David Dhawan’s film Do knot Disturb and over 6000 episodes of comedy on television including FIR and Lapataganj , is now working on a project called Mera Beta Varun Dhawan.

“Amit recently registered the title with the producers’ association. The members do not normally sanction titles which involve celebrity names due to copyright and other issues, but they have allowed it to be registered because of Amit’s connections with David,” a trade source says.

Amit who also did the dialogues for the first edition of Remo D Souza’s ABCD has also registered the title as a producer. “He is looking to make it either as TV show or a film depending on how the project turns out. Obviously, we are not sure if he has spoken to the Dhawan family regarding the project,” says our source.
