Karan Johar’s latest season of Koffee with Karan has been brewing controversies with startling revelations by celebrities ever since its first telecast. Is it intentional or is the host himself is caught off-guard by their candid confessions? “As a matter of fact, the celebrities are being much more politically correct than they were. They are aware that with the social media frenzy is hanging like a sword on their head, every word they say will be noted. They are all the more guarded about what they would say on the show, as whatever they say becomes a headline,” Karan shares.

Sometimes these statements are great for the show but it isn’t all that fun for celebrities, he reveals. “The show is fun, irreverent and casual. I don’t think every word should be whacked or over-analysed. I don’t think anyone sitting on the couch means to offend anyone,” he adds.

Salman Khan made his second appearance on the show this season. Recalling the episode fondly, Karan says, “I was most excited as he came for the 100th episode. It was Koffee century. He came with his brothers. It was an amazing episode. You should watch it.”
