“A cute gown or frock is always a good option for Christmas balls. However, one can also embrace pastel colours as they will look amazing in winter. Go out-of-the-box and experiment with unusual colours. When it comes to accessorising, one can opt for red boots and lace in their attire,” says celebrity stylist Meghana Alluri, who has styled the likes of Shalini Pandey and Catherine Tresa.

“Luscious lace and soft, sexy and opulent velvets are completely trendy this Christmas,” says designer Althea Krishna, adding, “Dresses featuring beads or rhinestones that shimmer in the light also look great.”
