Arjun Kapoor takes a chance
The actor has given nod to a film helmed by debutante director Kaashvi Nair, who has previously worked with Nikkhil Advani.
Arjun Kapoor has been busy dubbing for Panipat with director Ashutosh Gowariker and co-star Kriti Sanon at Sunny Super Sound. And it is now being said that Arjun, who plays Sadashivrao Bhau in the film, has given the nod for his next project as well.
While his film Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar is lost somewhere after Aditya Chopra has asked for the product to be reassessed, Arjun has now taken on a film helmed by debutante director Kaashvi Nair. She has previously directed the Nikkhil Advani-backed TV-series POW.
“Kaashvi is the daughter of noted veteran national award-winning director Shashilal Nair, who has made films like Falak, Angaar and Ek Chhoti Si Love Story. It is a big film and has multiple actors in it. Since Kaashvi has also been Nikhil’s assistant before in the film D-Day and has impressed him with her work, he has entrusted her with such a big project,” says a source.
