Share a glass of wine with your cats

You will now be able to share a drink with your cat. A company in Denver, Colorado has launched a special wine, specifically for your feline friends. Obviously, the wine is specially brewed and is non-alcoholic.

Named Pinot Meow and Moscato, Apollo Peak’s wine contains ingredients like organic catnip, and water. The wine red colour in the drink is derived from organic beet juice. The company has a white wine variant that is made from golden coloured beets as well.

The company’s founder and CEO Brandon Zavala has claimed that the idea started out as a joke but he thought he could actually make a drink for cats. Since alcohol is known to be deadly to house pets, the company dropped the use of grapes, opting for other products that are safer for cats instead.

Currently, the Pinot Meow and Moscato 8 ‘mewonce’ bottles are available for sale for $11.95 while the single tasting bottles are up for grabs for $4.95.
