Delhi University on Monday released the schedule of fitness tests and sports trials for admission to the undergraduate courses, based on merit for the upcoming academic session.

Delhi University on Monday released the schedule of fitness tests and sports trials for admission to the undergraduate courses, based on merit for the upcoming academic session.

The fitness test and the trials would be conducted in 28 colleges of the varsity between June 24 and July 2 in the morning slots between 7 to 11 am.

Some of the colleges included under the test and trials include Indraprastha College for Women, Lady Sri Ram College for Women, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, Hansraj College, Ram Lal Anand College, Miranda House, Kamla Nehru College, Maitreyi College and Ramjas College among others for games such as badminton, baseball, cricket, chess, hockey, softball, ball badminton, shooting, table tennis, squash and tennis.

However, elite athlete with disability category students have been asked to appear in Acharya Narendra Dev College for their test and trials.

DU also released a set of guidelines to be strictly followed by candidates ahead of the trials.

Meanwhile, about 55,332 girl applicants registered for Delhi University’s Non-Collegiate Women Education Board, while making it the highest number of applicants applying to the board this year.
